By the National Bureau of Statistics, as of the first half of 2010, statistics of the National 289 paint manufacturers, production was 1,065,992 tons, and the first half of 2009 compared to 792,595 tons, an increase of 34.5%. Among them, Sichuan Province is the fastest growing year on year (the number of statistical enterprises 7), 2010 pigment production was 135,350 tons in the first half, compared with 48,508 tons the same period in 2009, an increase of 179%. The provinces with the largest output in Zhejiang (statistics the number of 60 enterprises), 2010 pigment production was 176,266 tons in the first half, compared with the same period in 2009, 130,083 tons, an increase of 35.5%, followed by Jiangsu Province (statistical number of 38 companies ), 2010 pigment production was 126,005 tons in the first half, an increase of 37.6%. From this we can see that our country experienced a financial crisis paint industry is slowly recovering, Jiangsu, Zhejiang province paint are steadily returned to pre-crisis growth.
